Sunyata, generally translated as "emptiness," is the central concept of the Madhyamika school of Buddhism, which in turn is based on the indian philosopher Nagaruna's teachings. To date, the entire sutra has not been published online in English. Ultimately Chan/Zen became the Practice that went with the Theory of Hua Yen Buddhism and was associated with the Flower Garland Sutra. In the fourth century c.e., a new set of sutras were written, most significantly, the Flower ornament Sutra (Avatamsaka Sutra), the Descent into Lanka Sutra (Lankavatara Sutra), and the Resolution of Enigmas Sutra (Sandhinirmocana Sutra).
